A recent summer signing of the Richardson raceme, Currie was looking to sign for Brighton before Richardson got involved and ended up signing Currie on a three year contract. Currie is a very experienced footballer having played for more clubs than any other player in the team, with Chesterfield being the 11th club of his long career. Although playing competitive football for over 13 years, Currie has only tallied up only 65 goals, he will be looking to be add to that total this season.
