Cheltenham Arrange Wolves Friendly

Cheltenham Town have confirmed that we will host newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers in our pre season schedule.

We will face off against Kenny Jackett's side at Whaddon Road on Friday July 11th and the game will kick off at 7.45pm.

The club are expecting a big following from Wolves as it will be their first pre season game of the season and it will also be the first major test we face as Mark Yates looks for a far more consistent season from us.

The game takes place 24 hours ahead of the already arranged Evesham fixture, so it's expected that Yates will split the team to give everybody pitch time.

Apparently Wolves have also now released Michael Ihiekwe who ended the season on loan with us if I've read things correctly, so it'll be interesting to see if Yates is holding talks with him over the coming season.

Pre season matches confirmed so far.

11.7.14 - Wolverhampton Wanderers (H)
12.7.14 - Evesham United (A)

Ticket details are yet to be announced.
