Cheltenham Loan Daniels
Ahead of the loan deadline manager Mark Yates brought in Coventry City striker Billy Daniels on loan.
The 19 year old will meet up with his new team mates for the first time on Friday and having secured his one month loan spell with us he will go straight into contention for the game against Hartlepool this weekend where he could obviously debut for us.
Speaking to the Official Site following the signing, Yates said.
'Billy is a player who can play in any forward position. We actually had him training with us for a week last season and we liked him. I'm really happy that he has come along and I think he will do really well for us. I'm looking forward to working with him until the end of the season hopefully.'
Daniels signed his first professional deal with Coventry back in May 2012 and was actually handed a first team shirt by their manager Andy Thorn back in the 2011-12 season such is his regard at the club.
In October 2011 he was recognised as the Football League Education Apprentice and won the award for that month for his efforts and so far this campaign he has made 23 starting appearances for his parent club, with a further ten from the substitutes bench.
He has also scored three times.
