'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Yates Convinced Me

Craig Braham-Barrett has said that once he spoke to Mark Yates he knew where he was going as he joined on loan until January.

Speaking to the Official Site the 25 year old left back said he had turned down a deal with a league one club to join us because he was excited by where we want to go.

'I jumped at the chance as soon as I heard Cheltenham were interested. I'm over the moon because playing in the Football League was key for me. There was some other interest from other clubs but I wanted to be here once I heard Mark Yates was interested in me because I've heard good things. After speaking with Mark and Neil it was a simple decision, it was a no brainer.'

Craig says that he feels Yates has a very good track record at getting the very best out of players who come from a level similar to him, so he's really looking forward to kicking on.

He also says his aim now is to secure a permanent move.
