'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cureton Targets Promotion

New signing Jamie Cureton has said that promotion is on the agenda for the next season after joining the club.

Speaking to the Official Site after putting pen to paper on a 12 month deal, the 37 year old striker said.

'This is a team that has done very well over the past two years and have only just missed out on promotion. The manager has told me he will be bringing some good players in and we should be as strong, if not stronger than last season. Hopefully at this point next year we will be up and out of this division.'

In the interview he also revealed that Barry Hayles had nothing but praise for the club when he spoke to him about the move and he feels he'll settle in quickly.
