'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cureton Signs One Year Deal

Jamie Cureton has today put pen to paper on a 12 month deal at Cheltenham after being released by Exeter.

The 37 year old will officially depart Exeter when his current contract expires and he will join up with us when pre season training begins on June 27.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Mark Yates was delighted to be able to announce the deal.

'I'm delighted we have been able to bring Jamie in. We saw what he could do last season and he scored 23 goals for Exeter which is a really good return, so hopefully he can do something similar for us. We are hoping his experience can play a key role too.'

Cureton said for himself on the deal.

'I'm definitely happy to be here and it's always nice to get your future sorted out. I spoke to the manager 3-4 weeks ago before heading off on holiday, but it was all agreed and it was just a case of signing the contract.'
