'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Retained List Announced

Mark Yates has talked about those players being released, and those being offered new contracts - admitting that this time of year is something no manager enjoys.

Speaking to the Official Site Yates explained that Darren Carter, Bagasan Graham and Harry Hooman have been told that they will be released at the end of their contracts this summer, although Harry Hooman has been invited back for pre season training to help him fully recover from his foot injury so he can find a new club more easily.

The club have also offered Marlon Pack, Russell Penn, Kaid Mohammed and Connor Roberts new deals and Yates is also in discussions with Darryl Duffy about a potential Robins future.

'It's the part of football that no manager enjoys. I want to thank Darren, Harry and Bags for their service. Darren is the more experienced and we cannot pay him what he would like, but I'm not closing the door on him completely. Harry has been unlucky with injury, he's another I won't shut the door on completely and if he isn't sorted by pre season, then we have invited him back to train with us.'
