Matchday Ticket Price Rise
The club have announced that matchday tickets will rise by £1 for next season.
The small increase is to provide Mark Yates with a larger playing budget, but of course the change will make Season Tickets even better value for money in comparison.
It also serves as the first increase to matchday ticket prices in 5 years, and will help to offset any losses from the new ticketing policy which grants free football to all junior school children and reduced prices for those aged between 12-18, along with a £5 rise on season ticket cards.
Official Site chairman Paul Baker explained.
'There is no doubt that the increased investment in the playing budget has in part contributed to our success and for the coming season the Board once again wants to give the manager the best budget that it can. Increasing ticket prices is never an easy option, which is why we have held prices for some years. However the costs of running the club increase year on year and to remain a sustainable business we must cover these increased costs.'
