'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Yates - We're Still In It

Mark Yates admits he has plenty of positives from the loss to Northampton last night, even if they are a little perverse.

Speaking to the Official Site Yates said.

'We're 1-0 down at half time in this semi final. We knew we would have to win our home game and we have one of the best records in the league there. I'm probably a happier man than Aidy right now because we got a battering and we didn't play anywhere near our best.'

Yates had credit for his back four pointing out that Scott Brown really only had one save to make in the game, but he knows we have to perform to our standard in the second leg if we are to bring this back.

Yates also revealed that Michael Hector has gone to hospital for an x-ray but that is a precaution and he's not expecting bad news, but whatever happens he says Cheltenham will deal with it.
