One Final Push For Yates

One Final Push For Yates

Mark Yates is expecting an exciting and open game against Exeter but he wants one final push from the players.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the trip to St James Park, Yates firstly talked about the offer of free travel from the club.

'I was just speaking to John Atkinson about the amount of fans travelling this weekend and hopefully we can take as many as possible. 500 or 600 fans down there would be brilliant and it was a great initiative by the board and the Chairman to put on the free coaches. Now it's up to us to go down there and get a result. It should be a decent game of football.'

Yates says he wants one big final push from the players, even if we can't do anything with it because of the other results, but either way we can take care of ourselves.

'That means preparing properly, be as good as we can be and win our game. Our focus has to be solely on Saturday afternoon and we are asking for one big effort.'

Yates also confirmed that Scott Brown had returned to training and was fine, whilst Paul Benson is progressing well and it reall is a case of finding out ahead of the game if Exeter has come too soon for him to play a part in the match. He should definitely be fine for Bradford though.

Whether one final push from us could translate to an automatic promotion place remains to be seen, but Yates wants us to do all we can regardless.
