United Youngster Extends Deal For A Month

Manchester United's Luke McCullough has extended his deal at Cheltenham by a further month.

The young defender will now remain with the club for four weeks extra, and the timing is perfect after he made his debut against Aldershot.

Speaking to the Official Site the 18 year old said of his debut.

'It was good to make my debut and get that out of the way. I obviously want to spend more time on the pitch but I will respect the manager's choices and give it my all whenever given the chance.'

Luke says he thinks his debut was okay, but he knows he misplaced a few passes and it just proves to him that he has a lot more to learn in the game, so can't expect, despite the club he comes from, to be an instant starter. He knows he has to keep working hard and earn his pitch time which has to be a good attitude to have at that age.
