Benson - We Need Consistency

On loan striker Paul Benson has said that Town need to find some consistency in the coming games and get ourselves on a winning run if we want to achieve our hopes of promotion.

Speaking to the Gloucestershire Echo Benson said he believes the team have more than enough quality for automatic promotion, but unless we get ourselves on a good run and pick up a number of back to back victories, it could slip from our grasp.

'We really need to put a run together now, we need to find the answers to be able to go on a consistent run and we have the players, but it's up to us to walk the walk.'

In the rest of the interview Benson talks about what he has said to our wide players and how they can best use his strengths in the box, and he also talked about his delight at bagging his 100th league goal against Aldershot.

Hopefully his current scoring form can continue and that will translate into the wins we need.
