'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Yates Will Be Wary Of Goulding

Mark Yates has got nothing but praise for Jeff Goulding who left the club for Aldershot on deadline day.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the Aldershot game, and potentially Goulding's earlier than expected return match, Yates said of the striker that he'd liked him, and that he could never criticise his effort or attitude during his spell with the club - but like most returning players, he will have a point to prove so we have to make sure that he doesn't get the opportunity if he does play.

'I know he's got a few doubters around the place but we have to e wary of him. He'll be wanting to put one over on us but that's just the nature of football. I enjoyed working with him but if he plays, he'll be a problem.'
