'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We'll Be Ready

Mark Yates has insisted the players will build on the win at Southend and they'll be ready for whatever Aldershot throw at us.

Speaking to the Official Site Yates said he was pleased with the response shown by the players against Southend, and he's looking for that to continue in our next game, because he wants to see us go on a run of back to back victories.

'We're aiming to put a run of wins together, that said if we have to scrap it out and fight it out, we will. The aim's to put a couple of wins together and make sure we perform somewhere near like we did on Tuesday night.'

Yates adds that a run of wins would do us the world of good because he doesn't believe any team have actually taken the league by storm so far, so a couple of key wins could be very important come the end of the season.

He also says there won't be many changes, if any for the Aldershot game, and although the weather has put paid to most pitch work in training, he's confident the players will be mentally and physically ready to go again.
