'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Youngsters Head Out For First Team Experience

Keiran Thomas and Michael Gonzalo have headed out on loan for some first team experience.

The youth team players are rated by the club but they obviously need to earn their stripes in additional competitive games.

Centre back Gonzalo goes back to Chippenham Town who sit in 16th position in the Evo-Stik Premier Division, whilst Thomas goes to to Evo-Stik Division One side Cinderford Town.

Centre of Excellence manager Russell Milton told the Official Site.

'We just felt it was good for them to go out and get some experience of men's football. I'm sure they can make a difference to the teams they're going to.'

The aim clearly is to increase their education, let them feel the rough and tumble of football in excess of youth games and what they've experienced so far.

Hopefully both will do well, and we could be looking at a couple of stars of the future.
