Yates - We Were Excellent

Manager Mark Yates has described the performance of the team as 'excellent' although, he does wonder why we made life hard for ourselves towards the end of the game.

Speaking to the Official Site after the 2-1 win he said.

'It was a really good performance, I'm just wondering how we managed to make it so hard for ourselves in the last 5-6 minutes. I thought we were excellent, some of the stuff we've played was decent and I thought we looked stronger and more organised. We've brought in some good players on top of the ones we have and the players responded the right way. It's good to win because we needed that, it's just a pity we didn't keep a clean sheet, but that's my keepers first mistake of the season so I think I'll forgive him.'
